We want to say a massive thanks to Wilkie Groundcare Ltd for his continued support and hard work the last few seasons.

From keeping the pitch in tip top condition to pitch-lining, often our pitch is the only playable one in Aberdeen. That’s down to the hard work and care taken to look after it 🙌🏻

Out on a pitch today with the new Shockwave machine… while our photographer made sure to get his shadow in the shot 👍

Poor camera skills aside, the machine’s doing a cracking job:
🌱 Sorting out compacted ground
🌱 Improving aeration
🌱 Giving the grass a proper lift

If your pitch is getting a bit too firm… Give us a shout! 👋🏻

A cracking couple of sunny days at Inverurie Loco Works FC - Official Facebook Site☀️

On Tuesday, we were out grass seeding to keep the pitch in top condition ahead of the busy season. And today we’re back again, this time our new Shockwave machine.

P.S. Think Alan might’ve got a bit carried away with the Wilkie Groundcare logo magnets… I ordered 10 thinking we’d have a few spares, but it looks like he’s managed to stick them on just about everything! 😂

Hogmanay already, so here’s a quick recap,
Before the bells ring in and we all lose track 🎉

Our Facebook’s been quiet, baby Hallie is here,
So Greg and the password-holder are shattered this year 😴

And Alan’s squeezed in a holiday or two,
Leaving Scott and Greg in charge, who knows what they got up to!

Scott and Greg have nailed a new lunchtime routine,
A nap in the van, with a bit of work in between.

Sully the black lab helped out in his own way,
Mostly supervising and looking for treats all day!

Thank you to everyone for all your support this past year,
We really appreciate it, it means a lot to us here!

Now it’s time to relax, throw a cold beer in the mix,
Here’s to health, happiness, and an amazing 2026!

It’s been a busy summer and we’ve been a bit quiet on here, but we’ve got something worth shouting about.

Yesterday we picked up our new set of wheels. And before anyone asks, it’s not Alan’s new mobility scooter.

Our newest tractor has arrived just as the weather starts to change. A huge thanks to Alfie Rae and Donald Rae & Sons Engineering for sorting us out!

We couldn’t resist taking it for a spin, so it was an early start at Auchmill Golf Course this morning. Alan of course. The chuckles were still getting their much-needed beauty sleep. 🚜
