An oasis of calm has been created with texture and shades of green, selected from the feature wallpaper.

Lined and interlined for additional warmth, the application of decorative pom poms further elevate my client's unique space.

An honour and a privilege to work alongside skilled professionals to bring the private wing at Palace House, Beaulieu project to fruition.

Visitors are now able to look around a new set of themed rooms. Third-year students from the Interior Design department at Solent University, Southampton presented various ideas to Lord Montagu - taking inspiration from the gardens of Palace House, the Montagu family history and the Solent which borders the estate.

In focus here is the Throne Room which was once a laundry room come cleaners' store, now turned into a positively regal bathroom.

The 'Throne' lavatory was made by antique restorer Alex Webster with the back emblazoned with especially carved Montagu coat of arms and furthermore, the gothic canopy hides the cistern.

Specialist paint effects add lustre along with the striking bath tub. Continuing with the royal theme, an illustrative medieval King and Queen on the shower tiles by Belinda, Lady Montagu all add to the attention to detail.

There has not been a better time to visit...and be sure to take a ride on the monorail!
