DID YOU KNOW????

Did you know that in the 16th & 17 century most households could not afford pigmented paint on their walls, they could however afford white!

This brought about the painters overalls you see today. They would cut old sails from boats as it would hide the paint making them look more presentable!

Sir Issac Newton first discovered in the 1660’s when shinning white light into a prism it would resolve into its component colours of: red, Orange, yellow, Green, Blue and Violet(The rainbow)

So when you next pop into your local paint supplier and ask for a colour booklet or look up into the sky and see a rainbow think about all the wonderful things that have been achieved buy a simple 🌈
