🌻 Lovely morning at the community garden space! 🌻
It was time to swap out the pansies for some gorgeous, summer-hardy geraniums.

We also got the broad beans and sunflowers—kindly gifted by our friends in Havant—transplanted into their bigger pots and planters. They are ready to shoot up!

Want to get your hands dirty or just fancy a chat?

Come and see what we get up to every Tuesday from 10am - 12pm at Andover Museum. We’d love to welcome you! 👇

A little tour of the allotment space my client and I have planted up together as part of my supportive gardening service. A diagnosis of dementia does not have to stop you doing the things you enjoy!

This is so fantastic to see! We’ve known for so long how important the connection to nature is for our wellbeing. It’s great that a large Trust has pushed the agenda forward. There are many more who need to work to catch up! 💚

The outdoor ward has space for six patients, who can be connected to power and oxygen supplies housed in a waterproof box next to each bed.

A lovely home visit this morning! We managed to tidy up this front bed with plenty of breaks for refreshments.

☀️ Whew, what a scorcher at the community garden today! ☀️

The summer heat is here early, and it’s bringing both beauty and a few challenges to our space.

Here is what’s happening in the garden this week:

Blooms: The bedding plants have opened up beautifully, bringing some gorgeous color to the space.

Heat Casualties: The intense sun has been a bit much for a few of our green friends. Our Acer is looking a little fried on one side, and the Pansies in the terracotta bowl are struggling to keep up with the water demand.

Time to Adapt: To keep things looking fresh, we’ll be swapping the thirsty pansies out for some brilliant, heat-tolerant Gazanias soon!

Exciting News! On a wonderful note, the seeds gifted to us by the lovely Pallant gardening group have officially sprouted! 🌱 We can't wait to watch them grow.
