🌿 Raised Oak Sleeper Planter by Liberty Landscapes

This raised planter was handbuilt to suit the area it was located in, using oak sleepers from Southern Timber, then prepared with nutrient rich green waste recycled compost. It will be planted for cut flowers in the coming season.

The timber edging gives clean definition, while the surrounding woodchip path creates easy access and a natural look that ties the whole area together.

A site visit today to see the lawn turf and .co.uk being laid expertly by in this Devon garden I’ve designed. The view is soo good I had to share. In time it will blend with the wider landscape 😀 Have a good weekend and get in touch if you like what you see.

Revisiting a garden I designed the planting for. It’s in its 2nd summer and doing well. 😀 There’s a mix of evergreens, perennials and grasses to keep the interest going. A happy site visit to see this back garden settling in. Front garden coming soon. The brief was to provide planting for wild life, grass to walk barefoot on,veg patch, pond, terrace for eating and interest throughout the year. Thanks to for the fabulous landscaping. Busy setting out plants while trying to dodge the downpours. I have designed this planting scheme for my clients. They designed and built the hardlandscaping. The planting is a mix of grasses, perennials and evergreen shrubs for structure. It feels good to be getting the plants in the ground.

A return trip to see a garden I designed last Spring 😀 I feel very happy with how it is maturing. It was a tricky site as The home had been built on an old coal mine, the drainage was non existent and there was about 5 cm of imported topsoil. It is now thriving with wildlife and lush plantings. Just as my client requested. Happy days 😀😀😀. Thanks to for the hard graft building it.

Today I came across Orchis mascula, early flowering purple orchid. Such a happy find. The Devon banks are brimming with spring gorgeousness 😀💚🌺😀
