With the weather we’ve been having lately, some jobs are taking a little longer than planned. We won’t rush a finish just to tick a box — if conditions aren’t right, we’d rather wait and do it properly than cut corners to stay on schedule.

Wet weather affects everything from mortar setting times to paint adhesion, and pushing through regardless only leads to problems down the line. Our clients deserve work that lasts, not work that was rushed between rain showers.

Saturday morning 8 am start to fit around an Evolution Properties tenant’s schedule — they’re teachers, so we made it work ✅

A mishmash of different fittings that had failed over time. Old pipework bodged together with incompatible connections — it was only a matter of time before problems crept in.

We swooped into action on the lovely rainy summer’s morning, stripped it all back and replaced everything properly with clean, correctly fitted pipework. All done with a few recommendations passed on to the landlord for future maintenance.

All happy parties before 8.30 am. Job done 👍

Badly done pointing letting your patio down? We’re on it! 🛠️

The team is currently down in Kent tackling a massive 100m² patio refresh. The original pointing was failing and letting the whole outdoor space down, so we’re doing things the right way.

We are carefully removing all of the old, badly done pointing and re-pointing the entire area using traditional sand and cement for a durable, professional finish. As we work our way across, we’re also lifting and reinstating any mis-laid slabs to ensure the entire patio is perfectly level, solid, and safe.
