We visited Blaby cemetery where my son is laid to rest with the hope of seeing whether we could help other families by relaying gravestones that have unfortunately failed recent stability tests.

As a parent who visits often I understand how important it is for families to feel their loved ones memorials are safe, secure and respectfully maintained.

Sadly, I learned that this work can only be carried out by the original stonemason so we are not permitted to help in the way I had hoped. While this was disappointing to hear, our intentions came from a place of care and compassion for other families.

I know how upsetting it can be to face unexpected issues when all you want is a peaceful place to remember your loved ones.

Although we can’t assist with this specific work, we remain committed to supporting our community wherever we are able and our thoughts are with those affected by this situation.

𝗔 𝗷𝗼𝗯 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗹𝘆 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝗚𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗳𝗶𝗲𝗹𝗱 𝗯𝘆 𝗟𝗧 𝗟𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘀𝗰𝗮𝗽𝗲𝘀.

We removed an old shed and rotten decking to prepare the area for a fresh boundary installation.

We then installed a brand new boundary fence adding an extra concrete gravel board to raise the height. This was necessary due to the neighbour’s ground level being higher.
