Hicks Flooring Ltd are looking for highly motivated and experienced floor layers to join our company based in Attleborough, Norfolk on a Employed or Self Employed basis throughout East Anglia.

Must have expertise in some of the following areas:
- Subfloor preparation
- Adhered Carpet
- Vinyl Flooring
- Cap and Cove
- Welding
- LVT
- Traditional fit carpet

Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Floor-covering qualification would be advantageous but time served always considered along side having a valid CSCS Card.

The role will involve working in commercial premises/ new build houses/ building sites and residential properties for valued customers, you will need to be polite and well mannered whilst promoting a positive and can do attitude at all times.

Competitive Rates available for the right candidates.

General Working Hours are deemed as Monday – Friday, 7:30am – 4.30pm (+ weekends & evenings when available).

Hicks Flooring Ltd are a busy Contract Flooring Company, based in Attleborough, Norfolk. We are currently seeking a strong & motivated individual to assist with the day-to-day running's of the Warehouse.

Working Hours: 7.30am - 4pm with a half hour lunch break.

Duties will include:
- Organising materials
- Daily stock take
- Taking/loading deliveries with the use of the Forklift
- Replenishing stock levels by placing orders via our database
- Maintaining a tidy work environment (both the Warehouse &
the yard)
- Organising additional skip collections
- Delivering materials to site when required
- Inspecting incoming goods
- Labelling stock

The ideal candidate will possess the following traits:
- Honest, reliable and dedicated
- Full FLT license (if not, training will be provided)
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong work ethic
- Physically fit as the role requires manual handling

Competitive Salary available which is negotiable dependant on experience.

Hicks Flooring Ltd are looking to increase their current team and invest in the right candidate through an apprenticeship scheme.

This is a fantastic opportunity to 'Earn while you learn', all applicants are welcome however you must be able to get to our Office based in Attleborough each day.

In the early days of your flooring career you will be expected to learn the different aspects of the business and the many tasks that make up this varied trade.

The basic starting responsibilities and tasks of the role will consist initially of:

· Fetching, carrying and tidying materials either on site or at our Warehouse

· Observing the Senior Fitters laying the flooring

· Gaining a general understanding of how the Flooring and the trade works

An internal training programme alongside and external course provider will be in place for the right candidate after completion of a probationary period.

By the end of your course you will have achieved the following:

· Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Floorcovering Occupations

· CITB Health & Safety Test Pass

· CSCS Card
