You never know where the simplest of jobs will lead. I quoted to remove the mould from a bathroom ceiling in Padiham, apply a mould barrier and repaint. This turned into a bathroom refurb, stairs and landing handrail refurb and new glass balustrade. This is the beauty of self employment - You just never know what’s around the corner 😊

**Breathe New Life into Your Old Rusty Ironwork**

Are you tired of looking at your rusty, old ironwork? Does it make your home look unsightly and outdated? If so, it's time to give it a makeover!

As a painter, I recently refurbished a rusty black fire escape. I stripped the flaking paint, sanded the rust off, and applied a red-oxide primer undercoat and a specialist, glass black metalwork paint topcoat. The results were amazing! The fire escape now looks a million dollars, it’s safe to use, and is protected from future rust and corrosion.

This process is a fraction of the cost of replacing the fire escape. It's also a more sustainable option, as it helps to extend the life of your existing fire escape.

If you're looking to improve the appearance of your home and save money, I encourage you to consider refurbishing your ironwork. It's a simple and much more affordable way to make a big impact.

One from the weekend…

A Housing Association bungalow in Whitworth required not just a kitchen re-fresh but a serious change of paint product!

Initially, the room required the walls to be cleaned of splashed cooking oil, some small repairs and a good few coats of paint to refresh. But, as in many Housing Association properties, the existing paint wasn’t of the best quality and, as a consequence, it literally wiped off. Cost asside, the new, scrubbable paint applied, although expensive, will ensure a much easier cleaning process without the need for a repaint anytime soon.

Nevertheless, with some filling, sanding, priming and some tlc to the bumps and cracks, the kitchen was exactly as requested.. Clean, fresh and looking like new.
