A very satisfying bit of close board fencing this week amongst other small jobs.

Built in collaboration with TBS Home and Ground Maintenance.

It was HOT and some really stony ground but we persevered.

As always thank you to our lovely customer in Warwick for the work.

A regular customer of mine gave me a little challenge last week ….. the property they bought came with a pre built brick barbecue that the previous home owner had made for a gas barbecue, when they left the property they took the gas part with them.

Not wishing to use gas but coals I was tasked with converting the barbecue into a coal barbecue.

So here are the before and after pictures …

The stainless steel cooking rack and warming rack were sourced from an online barbecue spares supplier.

Angle iron and coal tray from a local small metal works company.

Some new doors made from decking material to match the shelf and decking nearby.

I think it’s turned out great.

My customer has also requested a cover for the cooking area so pics of that to follow when it’s done .

Lovely to have my little helper Teddy with me there too …. ❤️❤️❤️

Some before and afters of a tricky bit of fencing completed this week in collaboration with TBS Home and Ground Maintenance.

We fought the weather but won in the end.

As always thank you to our lovely customer in Bidford On Avon for the work.

A couple of days of Picket fencing, despite some VERY difficult post holes to dig (turns out there was an old wall just below ground exactly where some posts had to go) I really enjoyed this little project for the customer.

I also built my first gate ! ❤️

Some before during and after photos of a little job I completed Monday this week for a client in Mickleton.

Old fence panels, rails and snapped off rotten posts removed, new posts installed, new rails installed, new panels with gravel boards installed.

Then it was onto re felting the shed roof.

Thank you to my lovely Client for documenting the days work with lots of photos. (And all the cups of tea)

I had forgotten to post this from a few weeks back, customer wanted some sort of “shelf” over their Tumble Drier and freezer in the kitchen to give them space for the ironing basket etc.

Using some white panels kindly donated by another client, and a piece of worktop that was destined for the tip (from a different client) I was able to create this simple area for them.

Just a piece of end trim required to finish it off.

(The customer is going to get some)

Finally got around to doing some more work at Lonsdale House.

Such a lovely thing to have a piece of oak beam from The Old Slaughter House (my dad’s old house) repurposed as a mantle piece.

It must be easily over 100yrs old.

A great piece of the Crook family history lives on.

I am so so proud to have been part of the showroom refurb with Tom Bryan (TBS Home & Ground Maintenance), at Expedition Campers Alderminster.

The showroom looks stunning now it is finished.

Please be sure to pay them a visit and check out the new showroom, and pick yourself up a beautiful new camper van too while you are there.
