Loft room, wet room.
As usual belt and braces install of wet room. Products by Impey Wetrooms.
Difficult room to tackle. Trying to use the space economically.
All porcelain tiles used. Floor was tricky to ensure any water would stay within tray area. With some careful tiling on floor and additional water seal. This is perfect and makes this loft en-suite pure pleasure to use.

Lovely small bathroom conversion
Many of the bathrooms in the area have stair header, causing an unattractive obstacle on entry. I have dealt with a few times. This is one of the options. Works slightly better as a usable ledge.
Clients wanted high end look, but not the price tag.
Managed to fit the brief.

One for me, one for you.
Recently finished a pair of rooms
The brief was to create two individual shower rooms for the lady and gentleman if the house.
The first room was quite narrow and the space had been poorly designed from new. A 760 x 760 tray was too small for customers, but by removing an unnecessary boxing on the side wall, a 1000 x 800 tray was installed with full glass doors. Aqualisa digital pumped shower delivering perfect showering experience.
Back to wall pan and hidden cistern fitted at end of room, soil stack stubbed and air valve fitted, reducing the need for boxing to ceiling.
Small Basin unit keeps floor area open for ease of movement, but allows user to have convenient use.
Heating via ladder towel rail.
Finished in a porcelain tile floor and walls, and even using this dark grey tile, with the new LED Lights it’s still bright and spacious.
For the Lady of the house, the main bathroom was the obvious choice.
Slightly larger in size but with no natural light.
Room was completely removed along with all existing box work, back to a blank canvas.
Building the room back allowed better use of space once again. Similar basin and toilet design, along the rear wall, but now no box work, unless needed. Soil pipe was located outside the room in wall, this added another 1/2m2 to the floor area, which is a lot in a 4m2 room.
Corner shower enclosure with Aqualisa digital shower. Illuminated round mirror over beautiful basin unit.
LED Lights and high flow moisture extraction,
Keeps the room bright and dry.
Finished in a lighter grey tile in porcelain, floor and wall. Incorporating design features with matching decor tiles.
Two elegant and timeless rooms.

First for 2018.
Forgetting as usual to take before photos, this room definitely benefited from its renewal.
A once cold damp room, situated on a ground floor corner of the dwelling.
On removal of tiles, it was clear to see that this room had poor ventilation and heating, as the render fell off in lumps and the room had to be fully bonded and Re plastered to achieve a good finish.
Once room was suitably dry to continue, it was tiled with natural stone copy porcelain tiles, walls and floor. Rectifying the heating issue and fitting under floor heating, gave the room the necessary warmth it desperately needed.
New lighting and extraction fitted, adding to the new ambience, bright and dry.
And for added pleasure, a WiFi speaker was installed in ceiling to stream whatever you like whilst bathing.
There is a lot of one colour in this room, but once fitted out and a few of the customers additions. I think this is a great looking room.
And with a family of 6 it will be well used.

Many of you know me for my bathrooms, and the care and attention that goes into the process.
I have recently decided after a bespoke build project of my own to start designing and building bespoke Sheds/garden rooms, workshops, what ever you wish to do with them.
I have looked into the market and have realised that most companies builds start at around £10,000 for a simple single skin shed, and large expensive concrete base. I believe I can offer a great quality timber framed building to your requirements for a lot less than the starting price of others.
I build out of reclaimed and new materials, and can offer a variety of interior and exterior finishes. To Tailor made to your requests, with plumbing, electrics if required. I have a fantastic graffiti artist to commission one off pieces, to enhance/ personalise your room.
If you or anyone you know, may be interested in this service, I am offering some start up prices to build a portfolio.
This set of pictures are of my 30m2 build with decking of 10m2.
If you require more information or would like to discuss the possibility of owning something a bit different then please message me.

Big IS beautiful!

the original bathroom was already dated, and as usual a very poor design and wasted space.
Stripped back to bare bones, boxing removed and reduced.
This plan was for a large functional wet room, for a busy family.
Floor completely tanked using Impey tray former and membrane. Walls treated with waterproof finish before tiling.
30 x 60 porcelain tiles fitted. With envelope cut for tray former. Simple glass screen with deflection panel ceramic wall tiles to complement.
Easy use and spacious area with ceiling Rose and separate handset.
Finished with stylish basin and unit, back to wall pan.

It’s all white mate.
Completed a couple of weeks ago, for a young couple in Royston, Herts.
A redundant airing cupboard was removed to gain extra length to the room, allowing a bath to be fitted. Original set up with large shower at window end, was impractical and badly designed. This fresh looking room, with mix of modern and classic fixtures, is now a bright, welcoming space.

I love all the rooms that are undertaken, but. Sometimes you design, and build something that really matters to the client.
My clients brief was not unusual in its functionality, but a design that incorporated a useful bath and separate shower and all the luxuries of a modern bathroom. Trying to fit it all in a 4m/2 room and making it accessible, that was the tricky part.
Here are some before and after pics.
Thanks to my friends at Bathroom ID, for assistance finding products to fit the scheme.
The 1500 baths design allows deep bathing but won't feel like you are in a kitchen sink. Plenty of light from the window, and discrete bathing.
900 x 760 shower enclosure, repositioning toilet allowed better access and comfortable area.
Nice size basin and unit. Duel fuel towel rail, and underfloor heating. Simple tiling scheme to increase light and space, with statement corner design in shower corner.
LED lighting for comfort.
Controls for underfloor heating located conveniently on the remodelled stair head, due to the new bath location.
And no boxing, all pipe work below floor.
They love it. !
So do I !
