A lovely job in Llanaber..nice weather.a bit blustery at times..
To hack out..prepare..and repoint 2 elevations..with lots more and make good the site

Another one off my long list..
Before and after pics of the latest works in Pentre Gwynfryn...this lovely 200 hundred year old gem ...with new owners putting their mark on the property....and more work in the pipeline from this one....
No mains water..so a 60meter bore hole was drilled thought solid granite ( not by me )..
My works was to supply and fit new windows..soffits..fascias.. rainwater goods ..hack out 3 elevations and 1 chimney then repoint..supply and fit 2 x veluxes (not those in the pics)..then prepare and apply 4 coats on santex masonry to the front elevation...
All materials were supplied by Jewsons..17 days in total. .6am starts and 8pm finishes

And..another one bites the dust..This time in Tal y Bont...to prepare exterior walls and apply 3 coats of santex..to hac...

And..another one bites the dust..
This time in Tal y Bont...to prepare exterior walls and apply 3 coats of santex..to hack out about 90ft of stone wall and repoint..
To prepare and fit 7 slate sills..
To prepare and fit Woodgrained double profile Fortex cladding...overall the job went well,apart from the weather!!!

Another one out of the way..
This time in Ynys..
Very long hours.
Removed old carpets
Prepared all rooms then applied 2 coats on ceilings( brilliant white)..2 on the walls(vanilla swirl and bloodheart) ..and 3 on the woodwork (brilliant white).. wallpapered 1 wall..fitted a Stable door and painted all external window reveals ..
Fitted trickle vents to all windows..
New chrome door furniture
Paints by Abbey decor..

This was a job that I was quite reluctant to take on, as I didn't know as to what horrors to find...but I did
Originally fitted by a so called local plumber..about 3 or 4 years ago.
The customers were left with no hot water, unfinished bathroom suite for that time...
Here's a list as to what I found...
Bathroom cladding stuck on to walls with what I can only describe as flour and water.
Also mis matched cladding.trims had more gaps that Watford...pipework just hanging like spare parts..shower cable was fraid (exposing neutral wire in 2 places)..shower wasn't even earthed..
Toilet was lower than soil pipe...meaning..it would take a few flushes to clear.....
And there's a lot more!!
A TOTAL ABORTION...NOT ONLY WAS HIS WORK TERRIBLE ..BUT WAS LETHAL
So it was a total rip out and start again...
Cladding on ceiling and walls..
All new plumbing...redirected shower cable and made safe...
New lighting..cabinet..extraction fan ..non slip flooring etc

Hand made purple dyed timber for unit divers and endpanals..lots more storage
Budget didn't stretch for new flooring..but will be later...
As you can see the customer has a Purple fe**sh....

Well it had to happen..after 17 years of loyal service..the old red toyata is now in Africa..So last September I upgrade...

So last September I upgrade to a Proace..
And today, just had the livery done by Phil Edwards and Jon of Signcreation....absolutely chuffed to bits with the result....Phil's done all of my vehicles
