Thankyou to the lovely man driving a gas van who stopped to help me when my van broke down on the way to pen*stone today. After having a tearful moment, then standing out in the cold, he was the only person who stopped to help. He even offered to wait with me while my hubby came through. 😊

We've just been on a walk around Cannon Hall. What a lovely place to have a walk in the superb grounds, looking at the plants and borders. Amongst the shrubs we saw this amazing rhino made out of chicken wire not something you see everyday 😊🦏🦏

Last year I planted up a new raised bed border with a variety of plants including a Bloodgood Acer, salix, pittosporum, viburnum, variegated weigela and euphorbia. It was really lovely to return to do some pruning and to see that my customer has looked after them so well and had planted some miniature daffodils to give it a pop of colour over springtime . Not only are the plants thriving and growing! my customer has painted a large cream circle on the dark brown fence behind the Acer. This has made the Acer stand out and I think it has made the Acer the star of the garden. What do you think??
