You would never believe that this Chinese Tree Peony started off the year as a bare stick of wood, it's an early riser and has given me a beautiful bloom already. It loses all foliage during the winter and springs back so fast! Every garden needs one!

The garden is springing into life, I love this time of year!
My perennial asters, salvia, penstemon and tree peony are all doing so well already as we've had such a mild spring.

With spring on the horizon, I'm planning my first seedlings of the year. I can't wait to get outside and start clearing up for spring!
