🏠 New Roof Installation Completed in Laindon 🏠

Another successful roofing project completed for a customer in Laindon.

This project involved a complete strip-off of the existing roof, followed by the installation of new pressure-treated battens and a breathable membrane throughout. The roof was then finished with attractive grey Sandtoft pantiles, providing a durable, weather-resistant finish.

We also stripped back the central slate section to construct a new roof structure for the installation of Velux roof windows, improving both the functionality and structural integrity of the roof. This section was completed using a high-quality three-layer felt system for maximum protection and longevity.

The end result is a strong, modern roof built to last, and most importantly, a very happy customer.

Today we successfully completed two flat roofing projects in Essex — one in Wickford and one in Benfleet.

Benfleet Project
Our work included:
• Installing additional joists to eliminate roof sagging and improve structural support
• Re-boarding the roof with 18mm marine plywood
• Applying a high-quality 3-layer felt roofing system

Wickford Project
Our work included:
• Stripping and removing the existing felt roof covering
• Installing a new 3-layer felt roofing system

Both projects were completed to a high standard, and we’re pleased to say that both customers were extremely happy with the finished results.

Another project successfully completed in Benfleet last week.

Our team carried out a full roof refurbishment, which included:

• Complete strip-off of the existing roof
• Removal of the chimney stack
• Installation of a new breathable felt membrane
• Re-battening using pressure-treated timber battens
• Re-tiling with high-quality grey Sandtoft pan tiles

The finished result provides a durable, weather-resistant roof with a clean, modern appearance.
