Indian Runner Drakes Available
Last years hatch, handsome boys which are very much loved but sadly our ‘Duck to Drake’ ratio is out and our ladies are getting a bit too much loving!!
They have been free range all of their life and spend most of their time at the pond so these two factors are very important when finding their new home.

All plants are FREE this weekend!
I have tomatoes, cucumbers, Atlantic giant pumpkins, butternut squash, crown Prince pumpkin, alpine strawberries, crocosmia and whatever else I find that’s surplus to my needs. I’m having a clear out. Help yourself but please don’t take my plant trays unless you have to, and if you do, please leave a donation as they’re expensive! Thank you and enjoy!

Spent a lovely evening in the sunshine repotting this Greater Tussock Sedge. I’m growing it for Derek Gow to plant as part of his rewilding project. It provides a great habitat for water voles and many other small animals and insects.
Always happy to give growing anything a go on request!

We’ve been busy here at Venn Park making lots of courgette cake and runner bean chutney from our homegrown produce. I’ve been looking into what’s required to get a licence etc. so we’re able to sell some of these homemade goodies on the stall. If anyone has been through this process and can advise, please let me know.

I’m afraid we’re coming to the end of our potatoes now. Thank you everyone who helped us eat our incredible harvest. 😋🥔

I’m getting calls, visits and messages from people all the time asking if they can buy larger quantities. I just don’t have enough now I’m afraid, sorry! ☹️

Although this was never a business venture (I just got carried away and planted too much of everything during lockdown) I have thoroughly enjoyed myself and the popularity of our stall has amazed me, I’m now considering growing silly amounts again next year especially to sell.
