I just done my first cut of the year on my own garden. It's been another warm winter and wet the moss on the lawns loves it. This has been the worst year for moss I haver ever seen the lawn I cut was 75 per cent moss. You can't treat moss once kill it without it returning it has to be done almost every two years unless after removing it you constantly erigate the lawn. Most people have given up it's a good job it's green

Won't be long until the first grass cuts are being done after the first cut it is good idea to scarafigh the lawn gets rid of dead grass and other deprie opens up the lawn let's the grass breathe We can do this process for £25 for the average lawn this also lifts a large percentage of dead moss

A little warning to people getting Power washing carried out by some one they have found advertising. Just watch they don't turn up with a toy which will be severely under powered which will leave you with an inferior finish yes and it will be cheap just what u wanted. I recently seen an add for power washing from £10 so be careful don't just go for the cheap job remember u will get normally what u pay for

During the hot spell of weather don't cut your grass short let it grow longer than usual. IF It is cut short the sun will start killing off the roots and the grass will start to turn brown

Now is a good time to kill weeds on lawns you can do this your self u need to have about 2 weeks growth on the lawn to make sure the weeds have plenty of foliage. IT needs to be a dry day when you treat the weeds get the chemical from the garden centre I prefer the ones that mix with water. Mix the chemical and apply to lawn I prefer to spray it is more effect than using a watering can. In a weeks time you will notice the weeds starting to die. This process needs done normally about every 2 to 3 years and if that sounds like to much work I can do it for you
