BBC Northern Ireland – House of the Year 🏆 (overall winner)

This win is really a story of a fearless client.



Bernard & Sinéad backed a quiet exterior — then went all-in on light, space, and art you can actually live with. It reads “gallery”, but it’s daylight-led architecture that makes everyday life feel bigger and calmer.

Quiet exterior; the surprise is inside.

Overall winner – BBC Northern Ireland – House of the Year 🏆

Delighted to share that a house I worked on post-planning (2018–19) with clients Bernard & Sinéad has been named BBC Northern Ireland’s overall House of the Year.

Huge credit to the homeowners for the ambition and follow-through — and to everyone involved in delivering the project.

Planning consent was secured by another architect; my role began post-planning and I was responsible for the subsequent design development with the clients.
