Few bit done this week, Oak beam cut, sanded and fitted above fire opening, skirting in living room and hall way fitted and prepared for painting. Couple of bedrooms painted out and kitchen put back together round new doorway opening.

Some work from this week;
Fireplace in living room removed before being knocked out to open it up, wires chased out for tv, boards dot and dabbed inside fire place all ready to be bonded before chimney breast is skimmed.
Old doorway framed and boarded up ready to skim up.
Fireplace in one bedroom removed and blocked up, wallpaper stripped then a few walls in both bedrooms plasters out. Skirting cut and fitted before corking and easy-filling both rooms ready for painting next week.
Few other bits and peices including chasing for wires for electrics and pipes for radiators. Very happy client this week more to follow next week 😊.

Few bits from today, few units out of kitchen before old door between living room and kitchen re opened so the other door from passage to living room can be closed off. Old cast fire removed, skirting taken off and carpet lifted in bedroom up stairs.

Another couple of bits prepped up today. Bedroom fireplace and alcoves dot and dab boarded, taped and beaded, and part of living room ceiling over-boarded. Chases were old passage way wall bonded and ceiling taped and beaded at stairwell. All sorted for plastering tomorrow.

Big job finished off last week, old porch knocked down, old foundations and floor grubbed out and rainwater drain/pipe work instated. New foundations and block work built, floor laid, small timber frame knocked up before outer stonework skin built. Indian sandstone path laid round and down garden including steps formed. Finally a drystone wall built on both sides for planters. Very happy clients. Big shout out to Garry Schmid for fitting new porch was a pleasure to work along side you again mate 😊
