Repair, don't replace. These benches were in a bad state. The wooden bench has had a new top rail made to exactly replace the original as well as a new seat support. The cast iron bench has all new wood and ironmongery. With new paint/stain these benches have lots of life left in them.

Before and after. Three layers of paper stripped from the ceiling. Major cracking raked out and filled. Now painted, the ceiling is flawless and really brightens the room. Walls painted, feature wall colour to the chimney and papered in the recesses.
