His design comprises full internal remodeling, a two-storey side extension, and two-storey rear gable extensions, plus a flat-roofed rear extension with a roof terrace.

Do not be tempted into thinking a quick sketch and some notes on a piece of paper will be sufficient enough to give to your builder when building your dream home or extension.

Not using to cut corners to save money is is a false economy, and will cost you in the long run.

By all means, shop around, do your research, and ensure you find the right designer that has the credentials and flare to realise your vision.

Our Double Storey feature is on page 49 of July's BuildIt Magazine, highlighting how a two-storey garage, can soon turn into a one-bedroom annex with the use of PD rights.

Sometimes planning permission is needed to create habitable space, but they were given the go-ahead via an LDC on the grounds that the National Planning Policy framework actively encourages multi-generational living.

This particular project cost was £1000 per m2 and was completed in 2019.

Take a look at this fantastic rear extension. Our clients came to us and explained that they wanted a modern open plan kitchen/diner. Once the outline design was confirmed, planning permission was gained, followed by Building Regulations Approval.
