Sherwood Foresters-Peninsular War

The 45th (Nottinghamshire) Regiment of Foot, later known as the Sherwood Foresters, depicted during the hard campaigning of the Peninsular War.
Painted to reflect the realities of service in Spain and Portugal, worn uniforms, campaign grime, and the muted tones of men who marched, fought, and endured rather than paraded. These aren’t pristine review-order redcoats, but veteran line infantry shaped by dust, mud, and long months in the field.
A regiment with a solid reputation under Wellington, brought to life with a deliberately restrained, martial palette.
