New safety walkways, zones and pedestrian / zebra crossings instated into the warehouse areas of an engineering and production facility in Cambridgeshire ⚙️🔩🔧

Following preparation via vacuum assisted planetary grinding, the team applied two coats of KDR Resin Systems EpoCoat HB in a variety of colours, as well as using the quick curing PolyCoat Rapide for the crossings in both black and white along with EpoCoat Linemarker. 🔵🟡🩶🔴

Now with walkways, demarcation and crossings in situ, the customer has a safer warehouse environment for both pedestrians and vehicular traffic ✅🦺

Another return to undertake more works in the commercial prep kitchens for a Premier League football team, replacing worn-out floor coatings with a durable, hygienic and cleanable polyurethane screed system ⚽🏟️⚽🏟️⚽🏟️⚽🏟️⚽

Working within a tight timeline between fixtures as part of a programme for a larger scope of works, following drainage installation and preparation the team installed around 170m2 of KDR Resin Systems PolyScreed RT, complete with cove detail to the perimeter and jointing works – with some areas to be completed following fridge installation. Finished off with a UVR sealer coat, once again Quickset Resin Flooring handing back floors that are safe, compliant, easy to clean and hygienic, we look forward to returning in June for the completion of an enormous area 💦🧹🧤🧽🫧🧼🪣

Recent large scale phased works in the Midlands as part of an ongoing maintenance programme for one of the largest UK supermarket groups, refreshing their back of store areas with durable, hygienic and cleanable polyurethane screed systems.

Working across corridors, warehouses, cleaners storage room, bakeries and more, these areas require strong floors with good slip resistance, also with the ability to stand up to constant light wheeled traffic usage. Several of the floor areas were made up of years of short term coatings and failed substrates, with full removal and replacement required in a number of areas.

As always with this customer, the stores require a quick turnaround for completion in order to maintain stock levels as well as full operation level 24 hours a day, 6 days a week; with shorter operational hours on Sundays. Installing over 2000m2 of KDR Resin Systems PolyScreed Q RT across multiple phases, the customer now has durable, easy to clean and safe floors upon which to operate.

With so many exciting projects covering a wide range of specifications, it's been a hectic but brilliant, fast paced and record breaking year at Quickset Resin Flooring and we look forward to seeing what 2026 brings!

A reminder that our Offices will close for the Christmas break from 12:30 on Tuesday 23rd December 2025, reopening for the new year at 08:30 Monday 5th January 2026!

The crazy end to 2025 for Quickset Resin Flooring continues in the run up to Christmas on this project in the South West. 3000m2 of preparation, screeding and repairs are well underway, with high build epoxy coating installation pending for this new storage facility 📦📦📦🏢🏢🏢

Lots of stanchions to work around on this one, with the mezzanine floor having gone in!

A great effort and display of teamwork by the teams on site so far to ensure this is handed over within the allocated timeframe ensuring no delays and interruptions for the clients wider programme of works 🚶🚶🚶

Eggsellent work from Quickset Resin Flooring, completing the flooring and associated works in just 8 days for an egg producer in the East of England 🥚🐔🥚🐔🥚🐔🥚🐔🥚🐔🥚🐔🥚🐔🥚🐔🥚🐔🥚

With a quick turnaround required with a customer keen to gain access to their new packing facility, this was a challenging project battling against the recent drop in temperatures whilst sticking to the timeframe! ⏳🌡️🥶❄️

Following preparation via shotblasting, the team installed around 800m2 of KDR Resin Systems PolyScreed RT throughout the main packing area and rear offices and washrooms; complete with accompanying 100mm cove detail and movement joint works. To top it off, a pedestrian walkway in company brand colouring was added to the perimeter, with further safety demarcation around the loading bay 🟢🟡 ⚫

Another happy customer with a hygienic floor to grow their business upon, completed first time, on time and on budget ✅

One of our teams has been working hard over the past 8 days to deliver a hygienic flooring solution in a brand new facility for an egg producer in the East of England 🥚🐔🥚🐔🥚🐔🥚🐔🥚🐔🥚🐔🥚🐔🥚🐔🥚🐔🥚

Final touches are being applied today with walkways and demarcation ready for the customer to move in!

Quickset Resin Flooring recently completed a floor coating and demarcation project for a major food processing/manufacturing company in the Midlands during one of their rare shutdown periods.

With a non-negotiable five day fixed window of works to operate within to minimise operational downtime around rigorous production schedules, the memo was as usual to complete the works correctly, first time and inside the designated timeframe ⌛⏲️

Following extensive preparation of around 550m2 via vacuum assisted planetary grinding working between a mixture of large open spaces and tight areas under and around machinery, the team installed a number of mortar repairs prior to two coats of KDR Resin Systems EpoCoat HB High Build Epoxy with an anti-slip aggregate scattered throughout the final coating. Joints were recut an reinstated with flexible jointing compound, with various demarcation, walkways and linemarking installed in a vibrant Safety Yellow.

In a more heavily trafficked area, around 50m2 of PolyScreed RT was installed, also with the required joints and demarcation / walkways.

A great team effort from all involved ensuring the works were completed on time, first time and on budget.

Recent night works in the North West as part of part of a maintenance programme for one of the largest UK supermarket groups, refreshing one of their onsite access staircases. 🪜🪜🪜

Requiring a strong floor with good slip resistance, the stores require a quick turnaround for completion, with night works required and minimal downtime mandatory 🌃🌕

An MMA Flake system was installed, here’s some images from the installation, completed using Degafloor materials with Boud Minerals Shoreline flake; which was a great match for the surrounding tiled areas. Complete with safety stair nosings to finish off a great installation by Mark Sirrell and Craig Walton 👏

Ongoing works for a long term client in the packaging industry in the East Midlands, with the customer requiring safe working floors to their new mezzanine areas 📦📦📦📦📦

Following preparation and a thorough vacuum, the team applied a coat of KDR Resin Systems LIMITED Polyflex HB with a full broadcast of natural quartz (0.4mm – 0.8mm) encapsulated to create the required anti-slip finish.

100mm coving detail was sealed prior to a final coat of Polyflex HB in Lincoln Green to the area of approximately 50m2 & 75m2, with the areas quickly back in use for the customers busy operation. The customer now has a floor that is:

✓ Sealed
✓ Good chemical resistance
✓ Flexible
✓ Durable
