I was born in London and grew up and still remain living in Solihull near Birmingham West Midlands UK. I have been painting most of my life and now with support of my family I now have the opportunity to follow my dreams of becoming a full time artist. My preferred medium is oils on canvas but I also enjoy the challenges of painting with other materials such as watercolours including acrylics. I r
ecently discovered the enjoyment of abstract painting. In these paintings I have created a story theme of girl meets sweetheart. I am inspired by the beauty of the British countryside and old towns & cities for their architecture when creating landscapes paintings
I am also delighted that I have been approached for a number of commissions for my art work including paintings in oils. Oil painting is my passion as it has enabled me to express myself in ways that would otherwise would not be possible due to having to deal with a lifelong lack of confidence with Dyslexic /Verbal Dyspraxia. I love the rich layered texture that lends a three dimensional aspects to the landscape that changes in different lighting.
