A-Tech have just completed the project of installing LVT to this stunning house in Barrhead. A kitchen the size of most homes lended itself to have larger planks installed in a herringbone pattern with borders around the island and units. The product is from Karndean and from the Opus range.

A-Tech installed these patterned carpet tiles to S2 Architecture's office.

There are multiple ways to form a pattern and what effect that you are trying to create.

On this project we analysed the space and offered our knowledge of how the tiles should be laid, set out and in what pattern and as you can see the results are fantastic!!

A-Tech installed the flooring throughout this full house in Bishopbriggs.

Using a mixture of Karndean Knight Tile in larger and smaller planks with installing a double border and central herringbone pattern, this creating a feature to the open plan living.

In addition, we installed a quality silver carpet to the staircase and bedrooms.

A-Tech we’re subbied out to install new vinyl flooring to this new nursery extension at the East End Healthy Living Centre, with at Elmwood Projects Ltd the main contractor.

After coming round post reviewing the architects proposals with curves that interconnected and that were to appear seamless when looking through glazed screen room dividers it turned out the architect with the etch a sketch was none other than a young aspiring architect in Steven Strang.

To be fair, after the job was completed the project looked fantastic and a fun environment for the kids to use.

Patterns.....

Flooring can come in all colours, patterns, shapes and sizes.

At A-Tech we provide a thorough analysis of the space and the best way of setting out the flooring and patterns which gives the best effects.

We will look at various setting out points, loosely lay the tiles, often lift and look at other alternatives and then when we are satisfied we glue and apply the tiling.

We hope that the setting out and final images show the process as some often thing that it come as part of one large roll.....(if only.....)

We love how the tone of the flooring adds a level of warmth and quality to the spaces.

Great quality of workmanship from BMC Joinery and Construction which made our job easier...
