POP - UP SHOP NEWS
I’ve been sitting for a while wondering how to share some very EXCITING news with you all, I’ve decided just to write a short story (like you do!) as you all know VERY SOON I’m going to be popping up a shop” it’s something I’ve wanted to do for a while but had to work out the how and where etc, so please keep watching this space! It’s coming soon I promise! Stay tuned!
Now I’m going to rewind slightly and tell you all a little story.
This time last year I said to Pete that I didn’t know if my career was taking me in the direction I wanted it to. Before All About Home I had always done outreach roles or housekeeping where I’d be looking after people. There was a part of me that missed that but equally I’ve worked so hard for All About Home and everything we’ve achieved and never want to give this up. When I took the role as an EA for an independent estate agent I realised very quickly how much I missed All About Home, the freedom it offers me with my children, their schools and being able to help others when I want to.
There are two sides to “Tracey at All About Home” Tracey who loves interiors and making things special and meeting new people and exploring ideas together and then seeing their faces when I’ve styled their homes and then there is “Outreach Worker Tracey”. Somebody who wants to make a difference and help people. I’ve missed that part of Tracey for a while now. Something keeps pulling me between “Tracey from All About Home”and “Tracey the Outreach Worker”
I’ve felt a bit unsettled but something that has made me very excited is my “Pop-Up Shop” idea and it’s given me something new to focus on.
A couple of nights ago I was laying in bed (like you do of a night time) and a little thought popped into my head…….
Maybe my “Pop Up Shop” could help people.
So a couple of days ago I reached out to a charity called “I Choose Freedom”
I Choose Freedom is a charity that provides refuge and a path to freedom for survivors of domestic abuse.. You can find out more about this charity on website - https://www.ichoosefreedom.co.uk/
I Chose Freedom are hoping to be at our first event to provide Information on their charity or an ear of you need somebody to listen.
I’ve decided that for each “Pop Up Shop” I “pop up” All About Home will donate a percentage to our chosen charity.
Tonight I feel a bit more settled and I really hope that when I release the date and venue you will all be there to cheer us on and hopefully pick up a few goodies!
