EVERYTHING MUST GO! We're closing down.

Still got some lovely plants plus hanging baskets, snow shovels, sledges, cell trays and more. Come along for a rummage! All looking for homes. Help us to save the planet and get these items used! Tell your friends, community groups and schools!

There are still plenty of good plants to find homes for and I will be sorting out for another couple of weeks so if you can't make it today the next couple of fridays and saturdays will be ok.

Hi customers, visitors, casual acquaintances, colleagues, volunteers and people who once knew me, friends one and all.

I've got a big birthday this year.

My birthday present to myself is to reduce the amount of hours I am working.
To this end I must announce the closure of Perennial Favourites.

This is the end of an era for me and Fiona and there have been good days, hard days and fun days.
We will miss the lovely people we have had the good fortune to get to know and the sunny days with the flowers.

However this is not a sad day for me, as some of you know, I have been teaching young adults with learning difficulties how to grow and tend for plants. I am really enjoying it and moving to this strand of the broad discipline of horticulture is a positive change for me.

So to the mundane. I have a lot of plants that I do not want to see go to the compost heap, everything must go. there are bargains to be had. The nursery will be open Fridays and Saturdays until the end of February. I and my stalwart team of helpers look forward to seeing you.

For those who may ask, the nursery cat has found a lovely new home.
