Another one completed ✅
We were called in after previous contractors claimed all spray foam insulation had been removed… but as usual, that wasn’t the case.
Large amounts of foam were still left packed tight into the eaves, completely blocking airflow and stopping the roof from breathing properly. This kind of work causes serious long-term issues—trapped moisture, timber decay, and premature roof failure.
🔧 What we did:
• Fully removed all remaining spray foam from the eaves
• Restored proper cross ventilation through the roof void
• Stripped out the failing slates
• Installed new breathable felt and treated battens
• Finished with a full natural slate roof installation
• Completed with clean, correct detailing throughout
Now the roof can breathe as it should, and the property is protected for the long term.
⚠️ We’re seeing more and more of these jobs lately—homeowners being told the job’s been done properly when it hasn’t. If you’ve had spray foam removed, it’s worth getting it checked.
