Well, it took a minute and some graft but it was so worth it in the end. These things don’t happen overnight after all.

So the living room project is well on it’s way, but it’s still in progress and there’s been a delay with the carpet which was due to be fitted this week but is currently out of stock, and so we wait…
I’m so excited to style and see it all put back together.

Did you know that the third Monday in January is officially known as blue Monday?
Only three weeks into the new year and life has settled back into the routines of life, often New Year’s resolutions have started to slide and the enthusiasm of a new year is already waining. Not to mention that winter is in deep still with a few months to go before spring makes an appearance. It can often be a time when we feel most lacking energy and focus. Rather than feeling a little fed up, maybe it’s a perfect time to focus on your surroundings and consider a new colour to brighten things up at home? It really doesn’t have to be any more complicated than that - a fresh new colour on the walls. So which room is it that makes you want to walk out as fast as possible because it gets you down? Which wall has really been bothering you? Which space just really needs a refresh or a bit of face lift? Perhaps you’ve been longing for a dreamy blue bedroom or a perfectly plum living room, a deliciously green kitchen or relaxing creamy bathroom, or even a crazily inspiring kids room! Whichever space it is and whatever colour you dream of, I can help! Colour is my expertise and it’s what I love 🩵💙💜🩷❤️🧡💛. It can be so transformative and uplifting, which is just what we need right now to beat the January blues! I’m changing my main space - you can too.
I want to help you find your perfect hue!

Drop me a DM to arrange your colour consultation this January 🖊️

Another year, another transformation…
I mentioned in a previous post that it was time for a change in our living room. So before January is up we’re planning a little refresh that’ll be more to our taste in probably the most utilised room in our home, on par with the kitchen. We have previously done home projects in spring with it feeling like a natural time for a refresh, but this time I just can’t wait that long! We have been in our home for a few years now but the living room is still the way it was when we moved in and I’m tired of it. It’s currently painted in Farrow and Ball Calke which I really don’t love as it feels like more of an accent or kitchen colour. So we’ve been down to the local DIY store (not recommended on a weekend in January - wow it was busy!) to pick out paint samples. In the end we found a couple we liked and narrowed it down to two. But for now I’m keeping the final colour choice under wraps… what will it be?? What would you go with?
If you need a change too but don’t know where to start, drop me a DM.

~🎄Wishing you a very Happy Christmas 🎄 ~

This time of year our living room always feels so cosy with its Christmas green colour. Admittedly this is how it was already when we bought the house, but thankfully green is my favourite colour so it has stayed that way while other area of the house took priority being designed and decorated first.
The colour is ‘calke’ by Farrow and Ball, a warm bright shade of green, it looks great in kitchens too and would work well in north or west facing rooms. Our room faces east so this colour is bright in summer and warm and cosy feeling in winter. But christmastime is when it truly comes into it’s own 🎄
Having done many of the other spaces in the house now, we may just make this our next project, so watch this space!
In 2026 I plan to share some of the projects I’ve been doing over the last years and months, so again watch this space for more unseen content!
Thank you all for following me and I wish you all a very merry Christmas and Happy New Year 🥳
Oh and we opted to use our artificial tree this year for a change and got a real wreath instead. I’ve actually appreciated it since it’s less bulky and doesn’t drop needles.

🔥

This weekend our Winter Spice candles will be £22 each or £39 for two. Why not treat yourself and grab a gift for someone special, while at the same time supporting small and local this season. You know you want to! 😀

Thank you to one of my lovely clients for this beauty. It always feels like Christmas is definitely on its way when a lovely door wreath lands.

Note to self, must never attempt messy DIY so close to Christmas ever again 🙈 …but so worth it in the end.
We must have been mad 🤪
