All wrapped up in time for Christmas. This sea chest came to me painted in layers of red gloss paint. The side handles were even painted on, so they had to go! It’s had a glow up and is for sale. PM me if you want any more info. Before pics and prep in the comments

These cabinets may be small, but they are seriously mighty! Heavy enough to put my back out for a couple weeks 🙈 all fine now though!

They have been fully cleaned and sanded down before decor inlays were attached to the front doors and decoupage paper added to the drawers and inside doors. Painted and waxed to add depth and dimension, these can be enjoyed for many more years to come 🥰

This beautiful little sideboard is now all ready to go back home to her lovely owner 🥰 This is solid mahogany, which I have never worked on before, and had a good few coats of varnish and paint on which all had to be removed. That was no easy feat 😅 however, once all that was done the fun could begin! Multiple products used and new handles added! I love dovetail joints and always like to make a feature of them when I can. Absolutely love how fresh and clean she looks now! Happy Easter everyone ☺️

And finally, the finished set 😅 comprising dressing table, chair and mirror painted in Annie Sloan olive chalk paint and finished using clear and dark waxes, giving it a more rustic, but grand effect. I’ve added a transfer, a woodubend moulding and some gold gilding wax to make it pop. This is up for sale and will hopefully be going on display soon. Any questions, just give me a shout ☺️

Happy new year everyone! I hope you all had a lovely festive and have all settled back into a routine again ☺️ I have been working on a bedroom set over the last few weeks, when I’ve had time. Here’s a few pics of the chair which will complement the dressing table and mirror. I think this would be beautiful in a girl’s bedroom ☺️ will post the finished pics soon xx

All wrapped up for Christmas 😍 this piece completes the set for a very patient customer. All manners of things seemed to go wrong on it, hence the different body to its counterpart. Creating the stone effect, to complement the bedside table just wasn’t looking the way I wanted so I had to change tactic. Instead I tried to create a suede effect on the sides and added raised clock stencils to add further impact.

I am hanging the paint brushes up now for the festive but will be back in the new year creating more revamps. Please keep an eye out for a sale of some pieces in January too 🥰

In the next few days I’ll be posting photos of existing pieces I have that I’ve not started on yet. If you like anything to be done up to your taste, please just drop me a line.

Also, please excuse the poor lighting on the photos but I couldn’t wait for proper daylight 🙈

This little beauty is now done and ready to go back home 🥰 This awesome customer went all in and gave me full creative licence to do whatever I wanted 😆 this took me out of my comfort zone as my customer is male. I was aiming for a kind of steampunk/industrial vibe and I’m delighted with how it turned out! Don’t throw out your older/dated furniture. Do your bit for the planet and make it beautiful again 😜 he has a dresser that I’m going to start on next. If you want me to work a piece of your furniture, just drop me a message ☺️
