This year the community garden is having bi monthly working weekends for members. It's a great way to get lots of jobs done and encourage our members to come to the garden and get involved. There is always lots to do inside and outside.

Thank You Lovers’ Lane Garden. The children I work with aged 3-5 are very much enjoying the big pumpkin πŸŽƒ We have counted seeds (keeping some seeds to try growing a pumpkin next year). Hammered golf tees into a section, made delicious pumpkin soup and Cannock Bread. Tomorrow making Pumpkin Bread and Wednesday Pumpkin pie. And probably another Pumpkin soup.
Thank You all so much for donating a Pumpkin πŸŽƒ πŸ§‘πŸ’›

We've managed to enjoy a working weekend in the garden without too much disruption from storm Amy! We have these weekends twice a year and throw in a lovely lunch, often using our garden produce. Many hands make light work and we always get loads done.
