Land Skills Fair - 11th - 13th of July ! !

Only 10 more days until we are together in Glastonbury for this year’s gathering...

This year as well as all the gorgeous musical acts we've announced there will be sessions on myths and folk tales, how to make nettle cordage (as well as loads of other land craft workshops), discussions around land access and Community Supported Agriculture, a workshop on Basic Income for Farmers with the brilliant and a core focus on land justice and liberating land for collective care, as well as a whole lot more!

There are still a few tickets remaining including:

- a small number of solidarity tickets at a much reduced rate
- a small number of BPOC solidarity tickets
- live-in vehicle tickets (be sure to book these sooner rather than later!)

🎫 You can get your tickets at the link below 🔗

The Land Skills Fair is a beautiful celebration of our movement; a coming-together of our diverse voices and an opportunity to keep proliferating connections in our networks. All of this bound together in the spirit of celebration, joy and communion with the land, and to the sounds of incredible music and in the presence of soul-enriching art.

Grounded in radical politics and practicality, there is space to share skills we’ve learned on the land as well as ways-of-being that we’ve learned from it.

There will be workshops and skill-shares covering farming, forestry, craft, natural building and activism. Alongside this will be spaces open for those discussions around how we build a more equitable society together.

We're revisiting the flagship Ashton Dieback treatment project today to see how the trees there are coming along.

Monitoring treated trees is an incredibly important part of the process, as it allows us to document their health and see if any follow up care is required.

Storm Ashley is on the way but before it hits we'll take photos of the canopy to assess any decline and identify areas that may need further reduction.

At this time of year, the trees return their energy to the roots, conserving their chlorophyll for the dormant season to come. Extending that root network to find the pockets of beneficial nutrients we provide them.
