We haven’t posted much lately — been heads down building.
But it feels like the right time for an update.
Security is a tough industry right now. Rising costs, tighter margins, clients expecting more for less. If you’re in this trade, you’ll know exactly what I mean.
But despite that, the last 6 months have been some of the best in Armex’s history:
🔹 We’ve grown the team by 4 engineers — with 2 more starting next week
🔹 We’ve hit 7 figures in turnover for the first time
🔹 We’ve landed clients well beyond South Wales, including a project as far as Ivory Coast, Africa
None of this happened overnight. There have been points where I’ve genuinely considered selling up. Late nights, tight cash flow, the usual small-business grind.
But someone once told me: once you hit your first 7-figure year, it “should” get a little easier to grow from there.
We’ll see if that holds true. But right now, it feels like it’s starting to pay off.
