We just want to take a moment to say a huge 👏 thank you 👏 to the amazing team of volunteers who helped make Seedy Sunday 2026 a reality.

Unfortunately the weather was not on our side this year, but nontheless we had a fantastic team of committed volunteers coming out in the rain and helping us set up the space from 9:00am.

From answering questions on the seed table, to making seed bombs with children, we were well supported all day by a team of people who believe in the importance of community seed swaps and community gardens. We're lucky to have such a thriving community in Brighton, and we do not take that for granted! 🌻

Seedy Sunday is about far more than just the seed table in the middle. It’s a chance to showcase independent, sustainability-minded businesses and community organisations, bringing together our city’s community gardening network under one roof.

Tomorrow is Seedy Sunday 2026! We've just published the full list of the stalls that will be in the Open Market on our website 💚

We’ve got an amazing lineup of stallholders. There are both community stalls and independent retailers. We'll be joined by a host of community gardens and CSAs, as well as independent retailers selling everything from delicious gluten-free and vegan cakes, mushrooms, nature games and everything else in between.
