As featured in House & Garden’s marvellous kitchen compendium part of the current issue, the kitchen of Pluck co-founder’s Leila and Lloyd. The magazine explores ‘Material Matters: Discover what will make your kitchen stand out from the rest’ highlighting the ‘eclectic..mix and match’ design of this space that includes three types of timber: Elm for the main cupboards, a London Plane Turnmill Prep Table and dashes of natural pigmented Douglas Fir veneers from our collaboration with Schotten & Hansen.

We’ve just added this to our website too, where you can learn more about the design of the room - link in bio

Custom curves, gorgeous Bonnington Green, pretty pinks and a dedicated cocktail cupboard! The more you look the more you see in this kitchen…little design delights abound, including a curved bench banquette upholstered by Polly Granville with a fabulous striped fabric 🎪
And a larder arrangement that feels like a dedication to Andy Warhol 🥫🥫🥫
As ever huge thanks to our clients for sharing their beautiful kitchens 💚

This luscious larder is in KBB magazine, where Charlotte Luxford explores ‘kitchen storage’ and ‘what you need to prioritise if you want to make sure everything has its rightful place’.

We love a little excuse for a revisit of this divine kitchen! Part of a tall run of cabinetry, neatly nestled into an alcove, the larder is London Plane wood with a pop of Ritzy inside. Touches of these hues are used throughout the rest of the space too, where the main colour is Atlantic Blue 🌊

Do + Co Architects led the redesign of this home in South East London and summed up what this project is about: ‘this colourful home delivers rich detail in every room. [We] transformed this ordinary Peckham 1950s mid-terrace into a home that would showcase eclectic furniture, craft, art and fashion collections, whilst providing entertaining areas...’ 🥂

From talk of a career switch to carpentry, the unpredictability of trees, to his passion for food and cooking, we had a fascinating chat with Senior Cabinet Maker Ben Smith (pictured here in action) and you’ll find it in our recently launched Journal!

Ben kickstarted our ‘Meet the Team’ series, part of ‘Kitchen Table Conversations’, as we all know that this is where some of the best chats happen!

This colourful kitchen lies at the heart of a family home in a leafy conservation area of Birmingham. Centred around a large island, the flow of the space is designed to get people (and furry friends 🐈) together for food and fun!

Pluck’s cabinets are Market Mustard and Ruskin Blossom, with a cheeky pop of Ritzy in the larder. Beautiful texture is added by Cherry and London Plane wood. This kitchen has received a lot of love over the years, and of course we can’t share without the mention of the much loved family heirloom...the fabulous bust of a female French Revolutionary!

“Unlike other kitchen cupboards, the interior of glazed cabinets can be seen when the doors are closed. The colour inside can be seen from the outside, but its intensity is reduced to create a hazy hue through the fluted glass. The soft blurred outline of your mugs and plates gives a painterly effect – it’s like having a dynamic piece of art in the kitchen, an ever-changing still life!” says Pluck Co-founder Leila Touwen in a Livingetc article about fluted kitchen cabinets and ‘how to get them right’, using a Pluck kitchen to illustrate - a fabulous excuse to share more glorious glazed cupboards!

1, 2 & 3. Pluck HQ, South London
Not your typical high street kitchen showroom experience, this is where our cabinetry and furniture is designed and made. All under one roof, you are coming to a place that is part busy workshop - we love being able to give you a tour of where your kitchen furniture will be crafted.

4, 5 & 6. The Mix, East London
Behind the painted black doors of this cool, canal-side warehouse there’s a Pluck kitchen, encompassed by a cosy interiors emporium. Part of a design destination curated by the handmade tile specialists Bert & May, this immersive space unites design-led British brands, celebrating colour, craft and collaboration.

This cosy Pluck kitchen is nestled into a mid-century home, lovingly renovated by our client and her family. There’s a gorgeous mix of Atlantic Blue, Half Moon White, fluted glass and Elm cabinetry. A special mention of the pill handles - these were chosen as they reminded our client of velodromes, a thoughtful nod to her uber talented cyclist sons 🚲

Built in 1971 by architect Joyce Lowman, there’s so much character...timber ceilings, warm cork flooring, large windows framing glorious views of the Surrey Hills - the space feels so inviting and we were lucky enough to get a look beyond the kitchen and at some original drawings too!

‘I intended to go to the Kensington Dollshouse Festival, part of London Craft Week to see some small and perfectly formed kitchen furniture. To have fun sharing some of these dinky versions of real life… thinking the Pluck community would also appreciate these mini-kitchens. What I hadn’t expected to encounter was stall upon stall of exquisite craftsmanship, makers who had spent decades honing their craft, passion and often obsession. People so so in tune with the detail - striving for perfection in their miniatures of historic houses, furniture, jewellery, ceramics, silverware and more…’

The latest journal entry is up, where Pluck Co-founder Leila transports you to magical miniature worlds...
