Great to see a number of lenders already taking steps to cut their mortgage rates after the unexpected fall in UK inflation yesterday and the Bank of England's decision to hold interest rates.

According to the Home Builders Federation's latest Housing Pipeline report, the number of homes approved in first half of 2023 is down 19% and the number of sites given planning permission is down 20% to a record low.

Did you see our news? We were recently granted planning permission from the London Borough of Bexley for a new residential development in Crayford which will redevelop a former Electrobase site into 559 new homes across seven buildings with parking and cycle spaces and enhancements to the surrounding area.

The site is in an ideal location, close to Crayford Station, with regular services to London Charing Cross, and just a short walk from the town centre, with a variety of shops, restaurants, entertainment, and leisure facilities.

The scheme will redevelop a former Electrobase site into 559 new homes across seven buildings, with a riverside walk and enhancements to the adjoining Crayford Rough. It will help to regenerate the area and bring much needed new housing to this part of Crayford.
