A lot has been going on since I last posted here. I packed up and moved from Broseley to get back closer to where my parents live. Dad was ill and sadly died in May. Yesterday I created 2 inclusion rings with a few of dad's ashes inside. I couldn't be happier with how this turned out. I know for some people this isn't something they would like but I know it also brings comfort those who wish to wear them.

This was my old collie. I decided to pop his silhouette into silver. I should have taken a little more time and referred back to the original pic to try and get his forehead fur. The little foot pendent on a necklace has gone to its rightful owner today. I've been creating other pendants taking inspiration from my little fern corner in the garden. Lots of things being made up this weekend. Terrarium glass ware is starting to be gathered as I have a little stall happening in July and they need to be made and then settled before they go on to their new homes. Enjoying creating :)

Hope you are all keeping warm. It's suddenly dropped cold now I've moved a heap of my houseplants out into the jungle shack! Hope they are ok!
And so it continues.... I made this piece using a photograph of my mum's dog's paw pads. I created a stamp of the paw and then pressed the design into precious metal clay. After firing I have a beautiful piece of fine silver. I'm really enjoying exploring what I can do with this.

UV awareness rings.
These stainless steel core rings, change colour dependent on UV exposure. A great visual reminder to help you stay sun smart.
