Frozen condensate pipe in the cold weather? ❄️
In many cases, this can be avoided with better installation. Wherever possible, it’s best to keep condensate pipes inside the property to reduce the risk of freezing.

This customer had a condensate pipe running externally to their gutter, which kept freezing in low temperatures. We’ve now re-routed the pipe internally through the loft to the soil stack, fully lagged and upgraded to current regulations — meaning far less chance of freezing in future!
