Happy Bank Holiday Monday everyone, hope you’ve all had a good one! After a mammoth bike ride over the weekend, we’re ending the mini-break by having a relaxing day at home. The kids have been tasked with cleaning my van ready for the 4-day working week. Teach them young is my motto! Seth hasn’t quite got the whole van cleaning procedure off to a T, but he’s trying!

As some of you may know, I’ve left GB Integrated Systems Ltd and am excited to be embarking on my next challenge: starting up on my own again! As with us all, the pandemic has put things into perspective for me. Starting afresh, and truly working for myself, was something I just had to do. So, I’m starting back up! Under the name of Detec Fire & Security Ltd.

I possess a wealth of experience, having been involved in the fire and security industry for over 25 years; having worked for Detec Security, Swift Fire & Security, Kings Fire & Security, Hills Integrated Systems, and of course I can’t fail to mention my time as Director at GB Integrated Systems Ltd for the past 15 years.

So, what is it that I offer? The main areas of work I’m focusing on surround install, repair, upgrade and maintenance of the following systems:

- CCTV
- Gate automation
- Access Control
- Fire alarms
