As I approach my final working week of 2025, I would like to extend my sincere thanks to all of my customers. Your continued trust, support, and warm welcome into your homes and businesses have kept me busy throughout the year, and I am truly grateful.

I would also like to kindly remind everyone to plan ahead when scheduling any future work. My next availability is currently from the middle of March 2026 onwards, so early booking is strongly recommended.

I’ve recently had a lot of enquiries for 2025 projects, and I’m so grateful for the interest in my work. However, my diary is now fully booked for this year.

📅 I’m now taking bookings for 2026.
If you’re planning any painting or decorating projects, I’d recommend getting in touch early, as my calendar tends to fill up quickly.

Something you can dread doing can change your entire life.
Last year I was at a point, a very low point in my life, questioning my life decisions at the time and not feeling worthy. Not for anyone or anything. Luckily for me, I had an extremely supportive circle, in fact even support reaching far outside that circle. I took the leap, of which I had doubted to be doable for so many years, I set up my business and faced it alone. My response from the beginning was incredibly overwhelming, I had many sleepless nights, daily phone calls of support from certain individuals and I managed to stay focused and stay on track. Fast forward a year, I look back and i can’t begin to express the pride bursting from inside. I’ve done it, I’ve never had a week out of work, I’ve made some fantastic relationships professionally and I’ve had the pleasure of decorating the most beautiful of spaces. This is something I feel I was born to do, I was born to be my own boss. I’ve had so much help and support from my decorating network and I’ve managed to stay afloat and earn a living from doing what I love to do. Ive succeeded in something I had no ounce of confidence to do. If there is any advice I could give to anybody, it’s to do whatever it is you are afraid to do, I truly believe it can change your life for the better. Happy officially one year to me and my business ‘Alana’s Touch of Decor’. Thank you to each and every one of you along the way, eternally grateful, from the bottom of my heart.

✨ Sometimes we need to remember to step back and appreciate some of the beautiful properties we are chosen to work in. We are able to transform something very dear to our customers and make their houses feel more like home. I can honestly say that I love what I do and I love the relationships that I have formed with my customers. I’m very lucky 🍀✨
