Updating this hallway with a staggered brick bond tile pattern using a 1/3 offset.
The staggered brick bond not only adds a stylish touch but also creates the illusion of more space, making the hallway feel airy and open!
Steps before installation:
Removed the old carpet and tiles underneath.
Applied a slurry mix to seal the bitumen.
Used a self-leveller compound to level the surface, which was out by up to 20mm in some areas.
Finished with a coat of primer.
Now just cleaning up the skirting boards, fixing down the trim, and replacing the threshold strips to complete the transformation!
