Plus, our Summer Term 2 will also be starting from Wednesday 10th June for 3 weeks at Rugeley Cricket Club 🏏✨

🏏Rugeley Cricket Club - Player Sponsorship 🏏

Well done to our Ry! 🏏 first 50+ of the season and we’re only just 2 games in..

If you’ve been to one of our weekend events before, you’ll know that Ryan can often be found filling up the water play, topping up the paint pots and bubbles, freshening up the wash bowls, and helping with all the little bits that save me so much time. He’s usually starting the clean-up while I’m seeing you all out too… and his car-packing Tetris skills are definitely improving each week! 🚗😂

He’s also the reason our Saturday summer sessions are earlier than usual, as he’ll then be found on a cricket pitch on Saturday afternoons!

So, if you’re looking for a way to fill a Saturday, head down to Rugeley Cricket Club for cricket, a bar, and plenty of space for the little ones to play.

If you have a child aged 5+, they might also enjoy trying All Stars Cricket — the perfect first step into cricket. There’s also a fantastic junior section for older children, and you’d all be made more than welcome. It’s a real family club and we're very happy to be Ryan's sponsor and be a part of Rugeley Cricket Club. (I promise I didn’t just sponsor him so he’d stop pestering me and let me sunbathe while we were in Portugal a few weeks ago).❤️

And if you’re looking for something to do on a Wednesday, we also run messy play sessions there too!

Congratulations to Ryan Banfield who’s steady 54 helped our 3rd XI go back-to-back last weekend as they beat Milford!

Ryan has been a member of the club for a good few years now and not only is he a player he’s also our Vice Chair and has played a big part in our recent internal development!

He is sponsored by Little Mess Cannock & Rugeley - Little Mess is a fun sensory experience using edible & non-edible materials, water play and painting and more!
They have weekly classes and are also available for party hire - what’s more, they run a session out of our club! So get in touch for your little ones to enjoy 😊

A little trip around the world for our final week of Summer Term 1! 🌍✈️

🍝 Cutting spaghetti in Italy
🇬🇧 Scooping and pouring rice to create the England flag
🌍 Using our pincer grasp to pick up chickpeas and peas from around the world
✈️ Making patterns in the foamy sky like aeroplanes

Of course, we also had lots of fun getting creative in the painting area and splashing in the water play — ourselves and each other! 💦🎨

We had such a wonderful time together.

ANIMALS WEEK 🐞 🐷 🦁 🐸 🐊

We had so much fun at our term class this week, meeting our animal friends.

Scooping, splashing, practicing our pincer grasp, mark marking and painting!

It’s our final week of term next Wednesday, and we will be going on an adventure around the world 🌍 🗺️

ANOTHER NEW VENUE! 🎉

Parents in the ST19 area — we’ve finally found a space to host a Little Mess session… and it comes with parking too! 🙌

Thank you so much for your patience while I found the right venue in this area. Lots of places could accommodate us, but didn’t have enough (or any!) parking on site — and as a parent myself, that just didn’t sit right. I can’t think of anything worse than heading to a class and not knowing where to park, or having to get little ones out the car and straight onto a main road.

Parking is always essential for me, and the venue has to work for all of us 💛

We’re so excited to bring the mess, the fun, and all the sensory play to this new location.

Our first event here will be in June (followed by August and October). Bookings are open now!👀
