It’s been a full-on 12-hour day today! Normally don’t work Sundays, but they’re a longtime customer and I would absolutely hate to let them down. What started with what was meant to be a straightforward bathroom install, but the customer had a last-minute change of heart on their sanitaryware choices.
Recessed bath, basin and shower valves all going in. So everything needs to be millimetre perfect. As well as a concealed cistern and stop c**k needed moving.
Hot, cold and heating system all pressured up before leaving to get the customers back online.
Precision was the name of the game today, but we made it work.
Just as I was wrapping up, I got an emergency call from one of my regular customers, with a mains water leak coming through their ceiling. Stopped there on the way home and had the water back on in 15 minutes!
