This manor house project is now over six years old, and we think it feels just as timeless today as it did when it was first completed.

One of the questions we’re asked most often by clients is how to create a home that won’t feel dated in a few years’ time. For us, the answer lies in designing interiors with longevity in mind. Spaces that feel considered, balanced and elevated, rather than tied to a particular moment in time or trend.

Every project begins with the people who will live there. Their lifestyle, their routines and the way they want their home to feel. By creating interiors that are deeply personal, we create homes that remain relevant, beautiful and functional for years to come 🤍

Our Autumn / Winter diary is now open for new projects, please drop us a message or email us on [email protected] for more information.

Have you read our latest blog on natural light? 💫

Natural light has the power to completely transform how a home looks and feels, lifting the mood, enhancing colour and creating that sense of space and serenity we all crave.

It’s no surprise, then, that one of the most common requests we hear from clients is: “Can you maximise the natural light?”

In our latest blog, we’re sharing a few recent projects where bringing more daylight into the home became the driving force behind the design.

One of our favourite features in this bathroom is something most people probably wouldn’t notice straight away.

The bathroom sat right in the middle of the house, with no windows and very little natural light. So when our clients asked us to introduce daylight, we knew a structural rethink was on the cards.

By opening up the attic space and creating a light well, we were able to bring natural light deep into the room through an electronically controlled roof light, which can be opened at the touch of a button.

The transformation was immediate. What was once a dark, enclosed space now feels bright, airy and connected to the outdoors.

This new-build home on the outskirts of Bristol was a great space, but was missing the character our clients were looking for.

Our brief was to transform it into a warm and welcoming family home, introducing timeless details such as wall panelling, bespoke joinery and custom furniture throughout.

Thoughtfully designed joinery and furniture can completely transform a space, adding architectural interest, creating practical storage solutions, and bringing a sense of individuality that simply can’t be achieved off the shelf.

These waterfront apartments were designed in a calm, neutral palette, the interiors reflect a sense of understated luxury, perfectly suited to a soothing stay by the water and relaxed family time in the South of England.

With everything taken care of ahead of their arrival, the apartments were fully furnished, styled and accessorised, creating a seamless and effortless experience from day one.

When we present to our clients, we often lay out proposed fabrics, finishes and materials on a tray for review.

This hands on approach allows us to explore combinations, refine schemes and experiment with ideas together as the design develops - sometimes even continuing on site (which can be very dusty, but the best way to check the finishes work for the scheme!).

The boot room in our cottage project isn’t just a pretty picture, although captures it beautifully.

What might surprise you is just how much thought and reworking went into this relatively small space to make it truly functional. By repositioning and centralising the front door, we were able to completely reimagine the layout and create a mini bootroom.

And it’s the finer details that make it feel truly special. From the inset door mat to the double brick border, every element was carefully considered to create a space that is both practical and quietly distinctive.

The before, during, and after of the drawing room from our Cardiff project.

In this space, we were careful to retain and enhance the home’s original character, preserving existing features while refining them for a more elevated finish.

A closer look at this bespoke drinks cabinet from our Haslemere project.

Thoughtfully designed with fluted glass, concealed lighting, and a seamlessly integrated wine fridge. Pocket doors allow the space to be revealed or hidden with ease, while a antique mirror splashback and copper sink introduce warmth and a distinctive, elevated finish.
