Looking forward to the next Makers Market in July! Lucky enough to have a stall again, come down & say hello 👋 lots of great makers & a fun day out!

Following on from the success of our markets last year, we're very excited to announce that our next Makers Market will be happening NEXT MONTH! On Sunday 19th July our Llandough studio will host 40+ makers, who'll have a wide array of their fantastic creations for sale. Alongside that you can try your hand at throwing on the wheel and/or painting a mug, as well as enjoying some tasty treats and a cuppa. Get the date in your diary now, we can't wait to welcome you along to what's sure to be a fantastic event! And keep an eye out on our socials over the coming weeks, as we're going to be showcasing each of the makers who'll be at the market, to show you the kind of pieces you can get your hands on.

Excited to show my work at the Cardiff Pottery Workshops Foundation CIC Merry Makers Market in December 🎄✨

Come & see all the wonderful makers, lots going on throughout the weekend!

In today's Maker's Showcase we have Joanna Chittenden of Joanna's Ceramics, whose beautiful work is inspired by our native plants, and decorated using a range of oxides, slips and glazes.

We are so excited to see Joanna's work on show, her talent for making is clearly evident in this brilliant body of work. You can find Joanna's work and she will be at our MERRY MAKERS MARKET, along with a whole host of other amazing makers over 2 festive days – December 13th & 14th. Get it in your diary now, as you definitely won't want to miss this!

Something different! Finding inspiration from our native plants & grasses 🌾

Pressed into slabs of clay to make wrapped pots. Oxide tests show up the textures so well, can’t wait to use them on the pot forms!
