Not everything comes off the shelf.

A bespoke job completed by the team this week.

With the existing stone pillars dictating the size of each opening, standard fence panels weren’t going to give the finish we wanted.

So we made them ourselves.

Each panel was individually measured, cut, routed and built to fit, along with a matching bespoke gate to finish the job.

A bit more work involved, but the end result fits the property properly and looks like it was always meant to be there.

If you’ve got an awkward space or want something a little different from standard fencing, we can usually come up with a solution.

We’ve been showing you a lot more than fencing lately… but fencing is still very much our bread and butter.

A bit more than a fence this one!

Really pleased with how this bespoke outdoor space has turned out.

Built in larch, with a large pergola, decking, privacy screening and built-in planters — all designed and built around the existing space.

We don’t just build fencing and gates at South Lakes Fencing. We also take on decking, pergolas and bespoke timber structures for domestic and commercial customers across Cumbria and North Lancashire.

Progress on one of our current projects 👌

The main timber structure is now up on this large bespoke pergola, all cut and built on site by the South Lakes Fencing team.

Plenty of work gone into the timber frame and detailing on this one.

Next stage is the privacy screen, decking and planters which will really start to bring the whole area together.

Looking forward to showing the finished result.
