A shed/wetsuit drying room for a lovely customer in Oxford. Hand built (so not one of the flimsy pre-built numbers) insulated and clad. With an EPDM (Rubber) roof to keep the coming storms out, and the gear inside dry.

See Harry painting the rear wall, proving there's literally nothing we won't do and nowhere we won't go to ensure the client get's exactly what they need! 😂😂

A recent little job in Nuffield, a Porch Makeover.

Customer bought this fab (and bloody heavy!) door. Asked us to build an oak frame and window, and replace the other Georgian windows with brickwork. A big improvement to the look and light inside.

Early 2024 we were engaged to replace Sand and Cement render on this Grade II listed property in Abingdon.

Underneath we found the most rotten timber frame I've seen in over 40 years in this industry. The degradation of the original frame was so bad the the entire gable end of the house required shoring up.

In the last few months we have had to stabilise the building, survey the remaining frame and then rebuild, rescuing and reusing as much of the original framework as possible.

We are now after months of painstaking work nearly finishing the restoration of the framework.

Once finished we will be insulating the wall with a breathable insulation, applying a breathable membrane, counter battening and then applying 100's of oak lath, before closing it up for the winter, ready for lime rendering in the spring.

A real labour of love this one!

Another exciting day today in Tilehurst as we needed a crane to lift in 1 mighty cranked steel beam!

It was mm perfect and as with all our steel, it was supplied on time and on budget by B&M Engineers Ltd

The Tilehurst job is moving on nicely. Recent achievements include the Groundworks done and dusted and the steels in.

This week, the walls are being adapted for the new roof to start going on next week.

Phase 3 begins in earnest!

All walls, and floor out. Reconfigured and rebuilt to be the final part of the State-Of-The-Art dental practice. Staff rooms are in phase 4 (the roof still in situ at the rear of the building)
