This must be the best job ever. Decorating the House of Yoga, owned by my marvellous mother-in-law, Sibylla Chan, in Plymouth, with my ‘brother’ Tony Denham, of A Denham Building & Decorating. We restored both the House of Yoga and next door to their former glory, befitting of 1882 naval homes for the Admiralty. The jackdaws nesting in the chimneys weren’t too happy initially, but once they realised these south Londoners meant them no harm they left us well alone! Happy, happy days. Oh, and if you fancy a yoga retreat in Devon, then check out the House of Yoga, it comes highly recommended - scaffolding not included ;-)
