For the Love of Interiors & a little bit about me….

I began my journey in home interiors over 30 years ago and my passion for creating beautiful, personal spaces is as strong today as it was then.

Over the years, trends have come and gone, but the joy of helping clients transform their homes has never changed. Every fabric, colour palette, piece of furniture, and finishing touch tells a personal story, and I still feel privileged to be part of that process.

As I grow older, I do so with gratitude for the experience I’ve gained, the wonderful clients I’ve met, and the creativity that continues to inspire me every day. Age may bring a few more grey hairs, but it also brings confidence, wisdom, and a deeper appreciation for good design.

My day starts with a cuppa plus a few more! Then I chose music called Pearls of Wisdom, which is what you need when carrying out historical sensitive conservation upholstery projects.

My Design Perspective on the amazing Dormy House Hotel & Spa in Broadway.

The magic of these interiors lies in the balance: expressive yet restrained, artistic yet functional.

Fluid, watercolour-like wallcoverings create rhythm throughout the space, while sculptural lighting and tactile natural materials add contrast and character. The result is an environment that feels immersive, layered, and effortlessly sophisticated.

Lovely sharing and with kind consent, my actual finished works for Gawsworth Hall, Macclesfield.

Full dressing for the magnificent Hall Room four poster bed plus dressing table. A superb carved deep buttoned headboard for The French Room and restoration works in The Solar room, four poster bed. All had to be an exact match to the original photos.

New list of restoration works accepted so watch out for my version of The Repair Shop….in situ!
