Our brochure has had a little refresh! 📖✨

We’re excited to share our new and updated Black Duck Flooring brochure, featuring fresh pages, new imagery and plenty of inspiration showcasing the work we do.

It’s a great way to get a feel for our approach, explore the different flooring options we offer and see some of the projects we’ve been lucky enough to work on.

From hardwood and LVT to carpets, restoration and bespoke finishes, there’s plenty to discover.

A lot of time and care has gone into bringing the new brochure together and we can’t wait to start sharing it with new and existing clients.

Customer Satisfaction | Part 1 👀

We’ve been delighted to be working with Brooke as she renovates her first home, helping bring her flooring ideas to life along the way.

For this project, Callum and Ollie got to work on the herringbone installation. With the floor already prepped and ready to go, the first step was sitting down with Brooke to talk through the details, including the direction of the herringbone, where we’d start and how the flooring would work alongside the existing skirting boards.

These conversations are all part of the process when you choose Black Duck Flooring. It’s not just about laying the floor; it’s about making sure the plan works for your space before the installation begins.

One of the unexpected perks of our job? Meeting some brilliant four legged friends along the way!

Whether we're measuring up for a new project, carrying out a survey, or chatting through ideas with our customers, there's a good chance we'll be greeted by a wagging tail and a curious nose at the door. Safe to say, it always makes our day a little brighter.

We're lucky to visit so many wonderful homes and it's the little moments like these that make every project even more memorable.

Say hello to Kieran, one of the newest members of the Black Duck Flooring team.

Although he's one of our more recent additions, Kieran has quickly earned the respect of everyone around him. With a wise head on young shoulders, he's known for keeping a calm approach and finding practical solutions to the trickier challenges that can arise on a flooring project.

His attention to detail, problem-solving mindset and willingness to get stuck in make him a real asset to the team and we're excited to see him continue to grow with us.

Outside of work, Kieran is a keen motorbike enthusiast, but his favourite role by far is being a dedicated dad to his young family. When he's not on site, you'll often find them heading off on their next camping adventure and making memories together.

We're delighted to have you on the team, Kieran!
